| Kerri & Andrea ~ Retreat and Renew at Kripalu 2009 |
Andrea Pysher, RYT®, was introduced
to yoga in 2004 and fell in love with it immediately. She found that her body craved the yoga while her mind longed
for the down time. She decided to let yoga into her life and learn as much as she could. This led to a desire
to teach and share what she believes is very important and valuable to everyone in today's fast paced lifestyle.
Andrea received her 200 hour training in 2009 with Joan Thirion of Awareness Works. Her training is Kripalu inspired
with integrations of Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Viniyoga. She has attended workshops with master teachers
David Swenson and Max Strom. Andrea loves to continue to learn and to share her experiences with her students.
She also enjoys music, reading, being in nature, and spending time with her husband and son.
Debra Mohan RYT®,
has been practicing yoga for more than 10 years. Her initial experience with Iyengar yoga has
maintained its influence on her practice and her teaching. Debi completed the 200 hour Teacher Training
course with Joan Thirion at Awareness Works in 2006, and has taught yoga at the Dallas Wellness Center in Easton, Alternative
Connections and Sangam Yoga in Michigan, and most recently in the yoga room of her home in Easton, PA. Debi
earned her 500 hour teaching certificate through Integrative Yoga Therapy, where she is currently an intern as she continues
to study in their yoga therapy program. She has conducted yoga therapy classes for seniors in the Council
on Aging in Port Huron, MI and has worked with individuals with various medical conditions such as multiple sclerosis,
fibromyalgia, depression, and heart disease. Yoga philosophy is at the heart of Debi’s yoga practice
and teaching. She incorporates mudra, chanting, meditation, pranayama and asana into a practice aimed at the discovery we
are all meant to make; that we are whole and not separate from all that we perceive around us.
